Practice Manager
Wiltshire and Carterton Chiropractic Clinics are managed by Samantha Cornell. Graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan Samantha Cornell is a fully Qualified Chiropractor and Proficiency Rated Activator Practitioner, with qualifications in Dry Needling (similar to Acupuncture) and Sports Massage Therapy.
Activator treatment is a very gentle form of adjusting the spine and other joints and ideal for the elderly and children.
She has pursued her interest in Dry Needling and continues her studying at a post graduate level under Dr John Reynolds, a Harley Street Rheumatologist. Having completed some of her studies with Dr Reynolds she now integrates medical acupuncture, also known as Dry Needling, where appropriate with patients. Her particular interests are Jaw(Temporomandibular) and knee disorders. As a semi-professional trombonist she has intensive knowledge of the effects of the jaw on musician’s embouchure, as well as the effects of jaw disorders on neck complaints and headache. During her chiropractic training she has experience in treating traumatic knee complaints and has co-written two papers on the conditions she has managed, which have been published in a peer reviewed journals.
Samantha brings all these skills and practices together in her patient treatments at Wiltshire or Carterton chiropractic clinics to give the best level of treatment available to all the patients under her care.
